How It Works — Five Steps, Every Term in Writing

From form to funding, here is the entire process — what happens, when it happens, and what each stage does and does not commit you to.

The Process at a Glance

One form, one network, written offers, your decision, next-day funding. The five steps below expand each stage; the FAQ answers the edge cases, the eligibility guide covers preparation, and the application page is where the three minutes actually happen. Nothing in steps one through three commits you to anything — commitment begins, and only begins, at the signature in step four.

Step 1: Complete the three-minute form

Provide the basics on the secure application: identity, income and its documentation type, the amount that matches your expense, and the checking account that will receive funds. The form asks only what lenders need to evaluate the request.

Step 2: Your request reaches the network

Independent lenders review your profile simultaneously. Checking options this way does not by itself place a hard inquiry on your credit file — the credit decision, and any hard pull, comes later, at acceptance of a specific offer.

Step 3: Compare written offers

Responding lenders state APR, monthly payment, term, fees, and total repaid in writing. Read the four numbers against each other and against the calculator estimate you ran beforehand; nothing binds you at this stage.

Step 4: Accept — or decline — with a signature

Choosing an offer means e-signing that lender's agreement after reading it, prepayment terms included. Declining every offer costs nothing and closes the request. The decision timeline is yours.

Step 5: Receive funds and repay on schedule

Accepted loans commonly fund by the next business day by direct deposit. Repayment runs on the fixed schedule you signed — arm autopay, keep the agreement PDF, and the loan behaves exactly as its paperwork promised.

Two Timing Notes Worth Knowing

Morning submissions on business days catch same-day review and pre-cutoff transfers most reliably — the difference between Tuesday money and Thursday money is frequently just the hour the form went in. And document readiness drives the whole timeline: applicants with pay stubs or bank statements photographed before applying routinely clear verification in one round. Preparation, as every guide on this site repeats, is how speed is manufactured in advance.
