The Short Version
ClearLine Loans is a personal loan connection service for US borrowers seeking $500–$5,000. We are not a lender. When you submit our form, your request is presented to a network of independent lenders; those who can serve it respond with offers stating APR, payment, term, and total repaid in writing. You compare, you choose, or you walk away — the service costs you nothing either way, because lenders pay us for the connection, a relationship spelled out completely in our Advertiser & Lending Disclosure.
Why We Built It This Way
Small-dollar lending has a clarity problem, not a supply problem. Options exist at every credit tier; what borrowers lack is a fast way to see real terms side by side before committing. A connection model attacks exactly that gap: one three-minute form, multiple independent responses, every offer readable against the next. Competition on written terms disciplines pricing in a way no slogan can, and it hands the leverage in the transaction to the person the industry usually leaves without any — the applicant.
Our Standards
Five rules govern this site. Totals, always: any payment we illustrate appears with its APR, term, and total repaid — the rates guide and calculator exist so those numbers are checkable. Estimates labeled: every figure outside a lender's written offer is an estimate and says so. No spam vocabulary: you will not find "guaranteed approval" or its cousins here, because honest lending cannot promise them. Education without obligation: the guides, glossary, and blog serve readers who never apply, on purpose. Criticism published: our review page includes the three-star entries, because a trust page that hides its critics is an advertisement.
What We Are Not
We are not a lender, do not make credit decisions, and never touch or hold loan funds — money moves directly between lender and borrower. We are not a credit repair service and make no promises about scores; where our content touches credit effects, it explains mechanisms and cites the borrower's own agreement as the governing document. And we are not a data brokerage: information you submit moves to the lenders evaluating your request as our Privacy Policy describes, and our contact channels in the contact page answer questions about exactly what that means.
The Numbers We Answer To
46,000 customers have used the service, rating it 4.5 of 5 on average. The loan range stays deliberately at $500–$5,000 — the size of transmissions, deductibles, consolidations, and certifications, the problems this model demonstrably serves. Offers commonly arrive within the hour during business days, funding commonly by the next business day, and every experience claim we make traces back to the review page where our customers grade it. That page, like this one, is permanently open to your verdict.
